September 20th 2021: Belinda Groom joined BUSHRISK

I have been working at EDB for 9 months as part of my Biology with French degree at the University of Manchester, UK. My work here has focused on the issue of the bushmeat trade. Most of my time has been spent conducting a systematic review of bushmeat surveys in tropical Africa, as well as some genetic tracing of the trade, including lab work such as DNA typing of bushmeat species.
