January 2nd 2019: Kahina Mallil joined us.
I am an assistant professor at University Mouloud Mammeri of Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria. My research focuses on the trophic and spatial ecology of Algerian mammals (carnivores, wild boars, porcupines …). I am conducting a doctorate on the molecular ecology of the African wolf in Algeria, an elusive species that has gone mistaken for the African golden jackal. During my stay at EDB, I will focus on the population genetics and diet of the Algerian wolf.
