March 1st 2019: Cidalia Gomes joined BUSHRISK. 

I have obtained my PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar – University of Porto. My postdoctorate in the BUSHRISK project focuses on genetic and genomic data to trace the African bushmeat and its related pathogens. The final objective of my research is to produce turnkey molecular tools that come in support of wildlife trade law enforcement.
